This 2025 study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of modified-texture diets and thickened fluids in adults with dysphagia. To address gaps in current knowledge, a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials was conducted. The primary outcomes assessed included dietary nutrient intake, aspiration risk, fluid intake, and body composition.
